dear michael, i found your book at the end of the road festival 2011 in dorset and enjoyed it really very much. last month we finally visited japan and okinawa. and i really wished to eat at hirobun though i'm really afraid of spiders! instead it was raining heavyly so we couldn't taste your nagashi somen. but what i especially wanted to tell you is that we joined the kyoto cooking circle. the ladies were very surprised to hear that they are mentioned in your book!
your book was really helpful during our stay in japan. please keep on writing and if you happen to visit vienna, please look after "broeselkeks", we manufacture lots of biscuits. cheers, christine
